Hey guys, I just wanted to say I do have Hawaii and Las Vegas created on Madden, yalls jerseys and pants look just like the ones you posted of course I had to make th Helmet logo different, so it isnt exactly like the ones yall have but the whole set is preety close.

So I was wondering since its New Year's Eve and we want to get this thing rollin.

Do yall want me to do the simulation tonight??? and then we could have the rest of the games tommarow, just for a Special New Years event.

I can do them on schedule but I thought this would be a neat idea since its the New Year and all.

Just let me know, this week would be the only time I do a sim on Wednesday and Thursday for all the games just because they are holidays but if yall rather wait thats fine.

But I rather do it this way cause I can't wait to get the season rolling.

The commissioner Michael Taylor has announced that Tulsa, Oklahoma will be granted an expansion team for the 2nd season. The owner will be Beast Mode, and the team name will be the Cyclones.

I decided to do a concept for Kevin's team, but I'm kinda stumped on what the logo should be. What image do you get when you think nightmare? I don't think a horse(hahah).

Anyone have any concept/ideas on South Carolina's Uniforms. Speaking of them is Johnny still in this, because havent heard from him in a while.

Hey guys, sorry for my leave of absence. I wanted to work on some concept projects. I'm pretty much done with those. I plan to get back into this little expirament.

Tomorrow, I will be working on league logos. Such as the championship game, drafts, opening week, ect.

Alright guys the Runningback/Fullback Ratings will be up tonight and we will probly draft them sometime this week, as well as WRs.



The OL will be "auto" drafted meaning I will post the random order and will draft the players down the list, it will be very quick.



The Whole Defense will be auto drafted as well.

Alright everyone, I know stuff has slowed down lately especially with trying to decide how we were going to simulate it. I know Mykl and sizemore are still here, so is everyone of the original owners still here?

We need to know, some guys we havent heard in a while is (boneheadz MEM, chickenfish BOISE, Johnny SC, and BJB) I am assuming Kevin is, and Im not trying to ask if yall are still on board, just making sure yall are paying attention and know whats going on, and if you are not on board please let us know!

I guess I will be doing simulation, I will try and get RBs and FBs up soon, prolly Sunday, I hope we can get most the drafts done next week since we are on break (or at least I am).

Glad to see we are getting back on track and everything though, oh and make sure to get your jerseys and logos up if you havent yet, I will be back on doing the Under Armor Shop Jerseys.

Als any ideas on All-Star game's name, and/or jerseys, logos, stadium, etc.

I think we should have it somewhere in a pro stadium, and keep it the perminent place.

Allright Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone hope this gets some replies especially from the guys I named.

Pearl City Tropics Jerseys and Logos

The top left logo inculdes the team's primary wordmark and is the primary logo. The top right logo is the regular teritiary, while the one below it is the blackout teritiary. The pineapple logo is the alternate logo at all times.

These are the normal helmets for the team.
The primary, road, and alternate jerseys all use the same set of Hawaii Aqua pants with Pineapple Orange stripes. For Week 7, the team will wear their alternate Pineapple Orange jerseys. To the home games, fans are encouraged to wear Hawaii Aqua to the game to create an Aqua-out.

But wait, for Week 1, the tropics will break out these blackout jerseys, a tribute to the people of Hawaii. Fans are encouraged to wear Tribal Black to this game instead of the traditional Hawaii Aqua.

Now, don't complain about how you only got 2 home night games Alabama, South Carolina, Las Vegas, and Boise, you'll get three next year. I think we realistically need to only expect to get 6 or 7 seasons in '09 and '10 because we need more than one week for free agency and the draft. Also, if bigmike goes on vacation or something, we'll need to take a week off. And we need to realize one of us will eventually leave us, similar to what happens in the fantasy leagues over at the boards, so we'll need application and etc. time for the new franchise(s), or if we ever have an expansion, we'll need to figure out how to do that.

Okay this is weird to me, this site was skyrockiting at first and it seems like no one cares about it anymore, we dont hear from most the people who joined. I dont know if Johnny has even seen the logo we got for him. I just wonder why it has all slowed down though, its like ever since the QB draft everyone has lost intrest, I just wonder why everyone has bassically given up. Alright everyone, this has slowed down once again, we got to get rollin like we did, we HAVE to get this drafts outta the way so we can play soon, because if we wait to long it could take months to get drafts out of the way. So once again

we have to decide when the RB draft is, and we might as well go ahead and have the FB draft too, so I will post its order in a while, we will probably only have 2 rounds for Fullbacks. Alright also I think I have a idea for salary caps, Okay well ever since me and mykl talked about this on CCSL, I have been thinking about it, We think there are going to be a couple of "seasons" in one year, I think we should be able to do 4 easily, maybe more, but we do need to figure out how many seasons we will play because it has to do with the contracts I am thinking about.

Alright we need to write down a max. salary cap and I guess give contracts to our players, you can go up to 8 seasons (2 years) and when they are free agents in the off season, we could have a 2 week span where we bid on free agents, of course it would cut out of your salary cap so there shouldn't be one team "stacked" with goo players. At the end of the free agent period the teams with the highest bid on a certain player gets him. A bit complicated but it could work.

Of course we would have to make a system where you have to pay stars/starters more than your backups, or you could just pay them all min. wage and have a bunch of money, which would not be fair so we got to make an amount range you have to pay certain overall players.

Also I will post some templates for everyone like the ones me and kevin used recently. Chickenfish also used it just without a person in the uniform.

It would be nice if you used those though because it includes what you want with your home, away, home alt., away alt. You can only have four sets, because that is all Madden will allow. Maybe We can have a throwback weekend some time where you have to where [USFL, NFLE (used to have american teams), or WFL]. For now though you need four sets maximum.

Alright so everyone needs to reply to this mainly for RB draft day purposes, I will get the ratings up when everyone decides what day.

San Antonio Jersey Bonanza

First off I would like to say thank you to Big Mike, because I stole your template. Anyway this post is all about the San Antonio Jerseys. We need a final decision on which ones are to be used. I have come up with a total of six options, and four are to be used. The home jersey has already been chosen.I hope you like it. Also be sure to take note of the new secondary logo (used on pants and back of jersey) and the new script logo (used on front of jersey). However I still haven't decided on the alternate home jersey. So I give you the two options I have created.
Option 1Pluses: The jersey stripes match up to those on the pants. The secondary logo is in the proper colors on the pants. Minuses: I'm not too sure on the white pants.
Option 2Pluses: I like the blue pants. The uniform has a nice flow to it. Minuses: The stripes don't transition well from the jersey to the pants. The secondary logo's colors are changed from those of the original. The blue pants may make the uniform look too dark.

So the uniform you pick here is the one I use, no questions asked.

On to the next order of business, the away jerseys. So I basically have no idea on these ones. I want you guys to pick out of these three options, an away, and an alternate away jersey. Once again, your choice is the only voice for my decision on the jerseys.
Option 1
Pluses: The stripes on the jersey and the pants match up. The white (jersey) on white (pants) match the blue on blue in the home set. Minuses: A lot of white.
Option 2Pluses: The red numbers are sharp. I like the blue pants. Minuses: All of the changes make the home and away differ (maybe too much). The stripes don't match. The secondary colors are changed on the pants.
Option 3
Pluses: I like how the set is put together, I think it flows. Minuses: The stripes don't match up. The secondary logo color is changed.

So that's it for jerseys. So remember I need you all to voice your opinions on which jersey should be alternate home, away, and alternate away. Also seeing as I used my QB Chris Leak in this template, can anyone, Big Mike maybe, fix it so the skin is dark? Just a thought. So again, remember to vote, Mykl maybe put up a poll if you can. Redhawks Logo News

Hey so I couldn't come up with any logo ideas that looked good for the Red Hawks, so I made a request for a logo package for the team on the CCSL forums, so maybe I can get you some logos soon Johnny!!!

Gladiators Decide to Unviel all Uniforms and Logos to Public!!!

Alright so around I week ago I reported what the Gladiators Jerseys/Pants and Helmets will look like, but today they had a press conference so they could release the logos and such to the public, they showed the logo sheets and handed them out. All the logos have stayed the same since I have seen them.

I think they are nice, he said that the Gladiator helmet is the logo that will be used on the helmets, and most t-shirts and collectibles. The AG with a sword mounted on it is a secondary and is the pants logo, It will be used on t-shirts as well, but will not likely ever be a helmet logo. However the sword is seen in many aspects of the uniform, its on the Jerseys, pants and helmet.

The Red helmets are for the regular Home and Away sets, the black will be worn with the alternates, The red alt. will probably be worn on Thursday night or Sunday night games, as well as the away alternate which may be worn only against out of conference games.

After the Presentation I went out to the practice field and saw new QB David Carr throwing with Backup QBs Shaun King and Jared Zabransky. Carr had the official Home Jersey on, and I have to say it looks even better on the field. He let me snap a picture of him.

Is The League Okay?

Alright, I am in deep thought about this, is the league okay, I mean ever since the draft every thing has s...l...o...w...e...d........d...o...w...n, has anyone noticed? Also we havent heard from a member or two in 3 or 4 days, is ELVIS still part of this? Cause I dont think he has left the building (lol) but being serious, I dont think he even knows we had a draft yet, also haven't heard from Mykl since the draft, I talked to him on CCSL but he said it is "getting out of hand", I am not taking a shot at him or anything, but buisness was BOOMING, until the draft, sure it was a bit sloppy but hey it was are first draft, we got 15 more to go, and hell we started a week and a half ago, and we already have 70 sumtin post, but no one has posted the past couple days. So I just wanted to ask Is everyone still on board with this, cause I don't wont it to Fold/Crash. I think it will be fun!!!

MLF Important News!!!

Alright everybody, the draft was alright but I got to admit it had some issues, from now on we will not use th live chat thing, we will just make a new post Called __ Draft and comment on what our picks are.

Now I will post the new RB draft order tonight, here is the deal on the order, Good News : EVERYONE yes EVERYONE will get a #1 draft pick for one offensive postion because thier are 8 draft positions QB-RB-FB-WR-TE-T-G-C (Guards and Tackles include both Right and Left), theBAD NEWS: Not really bad but you only get one #1 pick, now you can not every be in the same spot you were in once, EX: Iwas the 3rd pick of the QB draft, I cant be 3rd pick for any other positions.Defense- Really only has 7 positions for Draft but we will include K &P with them, and combine Kickers and Punters so that makes 8.DT-DE-OLB-MLB-CB-SS-FS-K/P see not so hard.

Now I will give the RB draft Order tonight, we will likely have the RB draft Friday or Saturday, please leave what time is best for you!

Also anyone have ideas on Salary/Contracts, etc. We need ideas on that for the future of the league, so please leave any ideas regrading that.

Another thing I wanted to touch on is trades, if you have a trade propsal just post it for the other owner to see. On the RB draft, just befor the Draft Post we will make a post called Draft Trades, where you can swap players and draft picks, If you have a Player you want to put out there for anyone but you want something in return (Trade Blcok) just make a post about the players name and what you wan in return!

Gladiators Unviel Official Helmets!!!

So I was back in Hoover today and Owner Michael Harbison talked to me, he had a surprise for me! It was the new Gladiator Helmets!!! It has a cool Sword stripe in the middle and the Primary logo on the side. He said both will be worn this season and they will unveil all of the Jersey sets with logos ( The post I made unveiling them before messed up). So stay tuned!!!

Nightmare Confirms Move

Pack your bags Portland, because the Nightmare are moving to San Antonio. The franchise announced their move this afternoon. Although the voting did not exactly go his way, GM Kevin Cormier decided that the move was best. "I expected the voting to go about 50/ 50 and it did." Said Cormier,"Trust me though, we have big plans and big aspirations for this team. So we needed a bigger city and stadium to hold them. And besides, everything's bigger in Texas. Redhawks a big hit already!

Less than 48 hours after the announcement of the South Carolina Redhawks went public over 18,000 people have put a deposit down on Season Tickets. Team owner Johnny Brown put a notice on the teams website that more information on the Team Logos, Ticket Packages and other information should be available within the week. "I'm excited and ready for pro football to be played in Columbia" local resident Drew Hines told us. Stayed tuned any updates and news on the franchise will be reported here first!

Portland Nightmare Moving?

Thats right, rumors have been floating around the Portland franchise that the team may be taking a 'permanent vacation' to San Antonio. When adressed about these rumors, GM, Kevin Cormier said, "The rumors of the move are about 50% true. When deciding the city that the Nightmare will play in, San Antonio was our second choice. However recently we have wondered if the Portland stadium is capeable of helping run a successful franchise. Although not finalized, the move to San Antonio is probable." Cormier was also quoted saying, "Before we choose to move or not, we need the consent of the fans, and that of the rest of the league." Cormier also told press that even comissioner Mykl was on board with the idea.

So post a comment on whether or not the Nightmare should move to San Antonio. Hopefully Mykl can post a poll to help this process.

Under Armour post new jersey for sale!

So I checked out the site again, and it is also now on MFLSHOP.com, where I saw Louisville's jersey's for sale, I heard back that they changed the colors around three times, and the owner finnly set on Gold and Black. When I checked the sites they said that only home jerseys are for sale right now. Away jerseys will be added soon as well as Alternates!!!

Final Team announced

The last and final owner has joined the league. An owner has bought a franchise in Columbia, South Carolina. He has decided to name the team the "Redhawks". I'll start on the logos and jerseys tomorrow. Since we have every team I wanted, we can start the players process. We plan to hold a live chat someday this week. Like what Chris does on Icethetics. Portland Nightmare Jerseys Revealed

After tonight's meeting with the league's commissioner, Kevin Cormier was ready to reveal what his team will be wearing for its inaugural season. Directly after the meeting, Cormier held a press conference outside his office. He told the press, "With the colors we have chosen to represent the Portland franchise, we wanted to stay away from having a "Patriots" look. So we chose a jersey set with stylish piping, and bold color choices." He also said, "We wanted to stand out from the other teams in the league, and I think that these jerseys do the trick." With that I bring you the official uniforms of the Portland Nightmare.The alternate jersey is to be worn at special events, and Thursday night games. Meeting With the Commish'

Tonight Portland owner Kevin Cormier and Las Vegas owner and Commishioner Mykl, will be having a face to face meeting at Cormier's personal office. When asked about this meeting Kevin Cormier said, "We are just really good friends and are meeting to talk about the league, how its going, and tieing up any loose ends that my be left open." I was told that the meeting was to begin around 6:30 PM and will last until late tonight. Cormier also told me that during the meeting tonight he and Mykl would be logged on to AOL Instant Messenger on Mykl's account, and will be accepting questions, comments, and concerns.

Season Schedule

One thing I was thinking is if that a player got hut, how could we carry it over into the next game. I think that if we play everyone twice (14 games), and then tack on the playoffs, we could do it in the tournament mode with double round robin and single elimination 4/6/8 team playoffs. The only bad thing is we would really lose the conferences. And would we have an all-star game?

After hearing many negative comments from fans, the Louisville Shockers have officially announced the L as their primary logo. The logo which fans have names "Light Bulb Louis" will be the secondary logo.

MLF announcments

(Las Vegas, NV)The commissioner, Michael Taylor, has announced a television agreement with the newly formed EA Sports Network. EASN(for short) will air every MLF game in the next 3 years. "We're glad to have them on board with us, They will give us the exposure we need to become big."

He also announced that the voting process for the MLF Championship Game host will begin this week. The Options will be, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and one more location to be named later. If your city would like to host the game. Comment below.

We need a name for the championship also.

The MFL has also agreed with Under Armor to become the league wide outfitter.

Memphis Kings Unveil Logos, Uniforms

(MEMPHIS, TN) - Soon after their team announcement, the Memphis Kings kept recent re-emerger and owner Elvis Presley's image in mind with their new logo & uniform design which they unveiled today at a press conference at the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.

As I said before, my image is known all over the world," Elvis said at the PC. "Associated with me often is my famous song 'Blue Suede Shoes,' so we've decided to incorporate that look into our logo set. Also, the rock 'n roll era is known for its neon lights, so we've put that in as part of the font. Finally, the image of me in my early days performing also has a part in the set as the midfield & teritary logos. All in all, once you see the sets, you can't help falling in love with them!

In addition, the Kings announced their uniform set. The helmets will be white with the secondary "M" logo and a blue-on-blue stripe, while the home and alternate jerseys will each be a different shade of blue.


"What I really want do do for the Kings is make them stand out in the MLF in all aspects," Elvis continued. "So far, we've got the unique uniform set down-now it's time to leave our opponents all shook up this year, because they ain't nothin' but some hound dogs to me! Thank you all. Thankyouverymuch!"

Memphis Kings Jersey Leak

With the hoopla surrounding Elvis' emergence from hiding and announcement of owning the Memphis Kings, leaks were sure to come around sooner or later. So far, here are the tentative home & away jersey leaks:



When asked whether these were official, spokesman Michael Burmeister said these were indeed the basic designs, but the final logo will be something slightly different, and we'd just have to wait and see what the final design will be.
