Sizemore's Season In Review

Well, the MLF season has had its ups and downs, but here we are at the halfway point of the season, and it's time to look ahead at the second half.

All-Star Game
East @ West
These two teams will put on an offensive show, as the best players from each team are pitted against each other.
The game will be well fought, but with the West down by 4 with 2:30 left, Jason White will lead the West to the win, 24-21.

Marquee Matchups
Alabama (5-0) @ Pearl City (4-1)-Week 6
This game should be a very good one, pitting the top two teams in the league against each other in Pearl City on a Saturday night. The Tropics have announced they will wear the "Orange Pineapple" jerseys that night instead of against a struggling San Antonio team in Week 7.
Pearl City 17-14 Alabama. The home crowd cheers the Tropics on as Jason White leads them on a game winning touchdown drive in the final two minutes.

Louisville (3-2) @ Alabama (5-0)- Week 8
This game will pit a possible battle for the East crown if Alabama can't get by Pearl City and Louisville takes care of business of San Antonio and Memphis, this game would be a 5-2 and 6-1 matchup. This is one to watch.
Alabama 21-10 Louisville. The Alabama defense will give the Alabama offense good field position, and the offense will convert. Louisville gets a late touchdown to salvage 10.

Pearl City (4-1) @ Las Vegas (3-2)- Week 8
This is Week 8's other marquee matchup in what may become dubbed as the "Wild West Showdown". This will be a Saturday night in Vegas, so expect for this one to be a good one. If the Gladiators can take down the Trops in Week 6, this may be a matchup of 5-2 teams, battling for Western Conference supremacy.
Las Vegas 14-3 Pearl City. The Aces finally figure out how to stop the Tropics offense, propelling them into a tie for first place in the West.

Las Vegas (3-2) @ San Antonio (2-3)- Week 10
This game is interesting, because if San Antonio can get on track, this game could be a matchup of who plays Pearl City for the Western Conference Title. These are two teams going in opposite directions, and this is only a marquee matchup if San Antonio can get the wheels back on the track. It all started with a 4th quarter loss to Pearl City.
San Antonio 20-17 Las Vegas (OT). The Nightmare improve to 6-4, tying the Aces at 6-4, forcing tiebraking procedures to figure out who plays 8-2 Pearl City with the Aces winning with the better division record at 4-2.

Projected Final Standings
Pearl City 8-2
Las Vegas 6-4*
San Antonio 6-4
Boise 2-8

Alabama 9-1
Louisville 5-5
South Carolina 3-7
Memphis 1-9

*would win tiebreak with a 4-2 intra-division record

I think the conference championships should be hosted at the site of the team with the better record, so it really does matter if you finish 1st or 2nd. I'll do one of these for each week for the rest of the season.

You get upset, Mykl.

Anyways, they're just predictions.

You still would get to lose to me in the playoffs :)

Haha it would be creeoy if all this came true. I say 9-1 record is good though.

Also Conf. Championship = Good Idea.

Championship Game - We play at a Neutral Site I think, we should pick some spots and vote on them (NO MLF HOME FIELDS)

Oh btw I like this, and want to see it net week since Mykl stopped his Weekly Wrap-Up thing
