Championship & All-Star Game Locations

The results are in! Looks like the 2011 All-Star game will be played in Boise, Idaho, so that means the all-star game will be played on the smurf turf. And Pasadena, California has been selected as the host for the 2011 Championship game, so that means we will have a rose bowl themed Championship. Out of 3 comments, sounds like South Africa is the favorite for the Globe Game so I'll just go ahead and announce South Africa as the coach, I'm assuming Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg would be the stadium used for this game. If you were thinking a different place, let me know. Mykl I don't know if you want to do the logos or not, but you like doing them so if you wanna make logos for all these go for it, obviously Roses should be in the logo for the Champ. And blue and orange would fit the All-Star game best since that's the true color of the field.

All-Star Week News

Boise QB Thaddeus Lewis has been benched. Beast Mode emailed me and said the site wouldn't let him post, so I decided to announce it. Former Las Vegas QB Quincy Carter is expected to become the starter, in the one game he has played in he went 4/5 with 51 yards and an interception. Boise may want to go after a Quarterback since we are approaching the Trade Deadline (Which will be 12et/11ct going into Sunday July, 11th).

Now going into complete speculation, I think Aaron Brooks would be a very good fit for Boise just because all of their QBs are athletic and have the ability to run so he fits good in the offense, they may wanna go after Daryll Clark or Ryan Perriloux who are the backups for Lincoln and both rated 82. That's just some of my thoughts on the subject.

I have the EAST All-Star Roster done, I thought we may vote on it but there are only a few people paying attention, and considering we've only had 4 or 5 votes on the last 3 PoTW polls, I don't think we'd get that many votes, I picked all the players on each roster based on stats, I will email everyone the stats from Weeks 1-5 and the All-Star Rosters after I post the Rosters.

Also I will try to come up with some All-Star Uniforms, if anyone else has an idea for those, feel free to post them.

Oh and Sizemore I created a new Web Persona called MLF2010, and I'm moving all of the MLF teams there just so I can keep it separated from my NCAA teams, because when the new NCAA comes out me and my friends are going to re-create our teams, so this just keeps it more organized. So you may have to redownload all of the teams or something, if you do just search MLF2010 instead of rolltider10. I will sim the All-Star Game this weekend, and then I am going to the beach again next tuesday, so I'm going to be gone till like Sunday, so you'll have to sim all of Week 6's games.

All-Star Game

So, it's been over a week since we finished Week 5, so are we even having an All-Star game at this point? What's the exact point of doing it now? I'd have simmed the game a while back if that was the issue, however there are no rosters for the ASG. There have been multiple instances in which I would have been able to sim games, but there isn't a game to sim. I just think that we should move on and not have an ASG so we can get the meaningful part of the season done for, and inch closer to Season 3, hopefully this summer.

Summer Season

Alright, since this season is coming to an end, who wants to host the All-Star Game?
Also, what new stadium should host the 2nd MLF Championship?

Las Vegas wants to host the All-Star Game.

State your case.

All-Star Game 2

I think we should work on coming up with a city to host our second all-star game next season. Maybe we should pick a city of one of the new teams? Mykl, I think you should come up with a poll or something, so we can figure this out. I just felt that the all-star game was rushed this year, and it would help if we were prepared earlier. I think if it were up to me I would hold it in either, Las Vegas (obvious choice), Alabama (for the new stadium), San Antonio (for the Alamo Dome), or in Quebec (Oh Canada!). So Mykl, if you could make some sort of voting system, I would greatly appreciate it.

ALL-STAR JERSEYS!!!

Sorry it took awile to get theses up but here they are! I sublimated the tribal pattern on to the sleeves and jerseys, but there is shoulder and side panels on it that dont feature the sublimated pattern on it. I also colored the panel's thread-outline, The pants are like the Vikings pants, so they can follow the side panels without having to make it mono-chrome, The team's logos go in the "blank" at the top of the pant's stripe also. I used the Virgina Tech Numbers I traced, I think they look preety good with the jerseys. Of course each Player wear's their team's helmet.

ALL-STAR WEEK!

Well me and Mykl talked about how we are going to do this and we decided that since this week's games are Mid-Way through, next week will be All-Star Week! EAST-WEST and it will be in Hawaii instead of the Championship which will be held at a non-MLF team's Field.

I will get the rosters up tonight, we are going to take the top-stat leaders and players of week and stuff like that, after we expand some more we may start voting.

The Starters play in the 1st and 4th Quarter while Second Team plays in the Second Quarter, and the 3rd Stringers/2nd Stringers play in the 3rd Quarter.

The QB Depth Chart will look like this

EAST
1. ALA David Carr
2. LOU Aaron Brooks
3. Tim Couch (He actually has played better than Chad Pennigton)

WEST
1. PC Jason White
2. SA Chris Leak
3. LV Ryan Leaf

I will post the rest of the rosters later, this means the Game will be next Saturday and every team is off next week
