West Conference Championship

Welcome to Las Vegas, Nevada!!! It's a beutifal Sunny 60 degree Saturday of Football!!! It's 3 o'clock here in Las Vegas for this matchup between the Aces and Grizzlies, The first time these two met was Ryan Leaf's Debut in week 3, where he threw for over 200 yards and led LV to a 14-5 win, at the time Boise and Las Vegas were 3 & 4 in the Division, Las Vegas wuickly emerged as a new team under Leaf as Boise just tryed to hang in the Division race, after new ownership and a risky trade that landed them a Veteran Quarterback and young Runningback, Boise became the hottest team in MLF during the 2nd half of the season. The 2nd Match-up was close and after losing most of the Game Leaf brought LV within 5 points in the 4th but threw and Interception under a minute to lose the game. Both have one once, now they have unfinished buisness, One can take Bragging rights and make to Indianaplolis where the Gladiators await!

Aces win it!

Do I still get a high draft pick for getting Haley to go on the chat?

Champion logo

I tried a new championship logo for the divisions. I used a new font, and changed a few more stuff.
Better? Oh, and I think the awards should be named.

West Champ- Taylor Trophy
East Champ- Harbison Trophy

named after the founders of the league.

Should I work on the championship game logo tonight?

Tie Breakers.

It goes

Overall Record
Division Record
Head to Head
Head to head score

So Beast I have 1 game up on you in the overall, and division.

So if I lose, and you win, we'd be tied in records.

It'd go to head to head, which we split

Then to head to head score.
Game 1: 14-5
Game 2: 9-14
Me: 23 You: 19

If I beat San Antonio, I get home-field advantage automatically, Las Vegas has already clinched a playoff spot but not yet home-field advantage.

If I lose PC would get Home-Field with a win over Boise

2009 Champion Logos

Here are the logos for the champions of each division. Once the Wild cards are set, I will make those logos.

Playoff Races

With the Playoffs set in the east, this post is focused on the west.

The Aces have clinched the division title. There is no way they can miss out. They're ahead of Boise, and PC by 1 game over all, and are tied with PC for division record. So if PC wins, and Vegas looses, they will be tied in record, but in head to head score, the Aces scored 7 more points. If Boise wins, the Aces still get the 1st seed.

Pearl City will be playing Boise, so winner will make the playoffs.

Oh and San Antonio, thanks for playing!

West Toss Up

Tonight's game against Pearl City finally ended San Antonio's miserable losing streak. However it has also raised many questions, as to what the outcome will be in the West. Pearl City is now only one win ahead of Las Vegas (one game back) and San Antonio. With a win this week at home against Boise, Las Vegas can tie Pearl City in the standings. This would put San Antonio in third and Boise in last. If Boise can pull off the upset however, the bottom three teams in the west would have a three way tie. With only 3 or 4 games left for each team, can the 'rest of the west' make a comeback against Pearl City. We thought so, and so did Kevin Cormier. "Sizemore and the Tropics aren't taking us seriously," said Cormier, "but with games like today's, maybe he should." We also caught up to Mykl, who said about Pearl City, "Teams in mirror are closer than they appear."

ALL-STAR JERSEYS!!!

Sorry it took awile to get theses up but here they are! I sublimated the tribal pattern on to the sleeves and jerseys, but there is shoulder and side panels on it that dont feature the sublimated pattern on it. I also colored the panel's thread-outline, The pants are like the Vikings pants, so they can follow the side panels without having to make it mono-chrome, The team's logos go in the "blank" at the top of the pant's stripe also. I used the Virgina Tech Numbers I traced, I think they look preety good with the jerseys. Of course each Player wear's their team's helmet.
