Albuquerque Franchise Set to Move to Lincoln
The MLF's Albuquerque 47's are no more. The franchise will be moving to Lincoln, Nebraska, to play at Memorial Stadium. Franchise owner Bmac has announced the team will be the Lincoln Pioneers. Bmac wanted to keep some ties to the team's Albuquerque days. The colors are set to be black, green, and silver, similar to the 47's colors. Logos and uniforms are expected later.

Kevin's Season 3 Prediction *UPDATE*
Regular Season:
WEST:
1-Las Vegas Aces 9-1 (7-1)
Led by Quarterback, John Parker Wilson, Las Vegas is virtually unstoppable due to their juggernaut offense. Kevin Jones has a good season at running back, but pales in comparison to the top wide receiver of the season, DJ Hall. Draft pick Brian Kelly also has an all star year at corner back, recording the most interceptions in Las Vegas single season history. Their only big weakness comes in kicker, Shaun Suisham, who misses a last second field goal, causing their only regular season loss in a heart stopper against Boise.
2-Boise Grizzlies 8-2 (6-2)
With a superior all around defense, the Grizzlies allow the fewest points in the west to win the second place position. Rosevelt Colvin records the most sacks in the west and all star honors. On offense the show is run by Shaun King, and his favorite target, Isaac Bruce. Patrick Crayton has a disappointing season, with the third most receiving yards on the team. Kenny Irons also a disappointment as he is surpassed in rushing yards by full back, Lorenzo Neal.
3-San Antonio Nightmare 7-3 (5-3)
San Antonio has their most successful season yet, led by David Carr, who gains the most passing yards, and second most passing touchdowns behind Las Vegas' Wilson. The credit is not all on Carr however, as all three of the 'big three' receivers, Rogers, Galloway, and Furrey have incredible seasons. Also LaGarrette Blount did not disappoint, breaking Nightmare rushing records left and right. Overall however, it is their balance of offense and defense that lead to their success.
4-Albuquerque 47's 3-7 (1-7)
An extremely disappointing season following their championship appearance in season 2. Dante Culpepper is somewhat of a letdown, with an average performance. The thing that led to their demise however, was their weak defense and horrible special teams.
5-Hawaii Tropics 1-9 (1-7)
The worst season in Hawaii history comes as a big surprise, as the franchise has been generally successful. Colt Brennan and Freddie Barnes fail to do anything that they set out to do. However the big problem is on defense, as they have the most yards and touchdowns allowed in the league. Their only bright spot comes in kicker Shane Graham, who hits the most field goals in the league.
EAST:
1-Quebec Polaires 8-2 (7-1)
One of the strongest offenses in the league and a great defense leads to the teams success. The team MVP is Duece McAllister, who comes up with the most yards and touchdowns on the ground in the league. Jake Plummer has another great season, throwing to Joe Horn and Dwayne Jarrett. Kevin Kaesviharn at free safety also picks up the most interceptions in the league. Their only weakness comes in their offensive line, as they allow a lot of sacks on the season.
2-Alabama Gladiators 6-4 (6-2)
Despite having the worst record in Alabama history, the team wins second place in the east. Their balanced attack really does well, and their stars do not disappoint. Michael Vick has a good season, with one of the strongest groups of receivers in the MLF. Their only weaknesses on the season are in the running game, and injuries really affect the team on defense.
3-Louisville Shockers 5-5 (4-4)
A strong offensive line leads the shockers high rated offense to a third place season. They create great separation for running back Najeh Davenport. Davenport is the teams only real offensive star, as Jevan Snead, one of the lower rated quarter backs, performs just about how he is expected to, throwing to some of the lower rated receivers in the league. Their defense also performed well, as their stars did well enough to lead the defense to success.
4-Connecticut Navy 2-8 (2-6)
Although the Navy have one of the most powerful offenses in the east, the Navy have a horrible season, and fourth place in the east. The offense, led by John Kitna, has the second most yards in the east. Rudi Johnson picks up the second most ground yards in the east. Their defense however really hurts them during the season, having the second most yards allowed in the east.
5-Memphis Kings 1-9 (1-7)
The Kings have yet another disappointing season with Graham Harrell at the helm of the offense. Although their squad looked strong, their lack of big stars on offense, and injuries on defense really negatively affects the team.
Playoffs:
ROUND 1
WEST-San Antonio beats Boise
This match up features two teams that split their two regular season contests 1-1. Despite the home field advantage, Boise is unable to stop LaGarrette Blount in this one, as he puts up more yards in this game than he did in any single regular season game, and scores two touchdowns.
EAST-Louisville beats Alabama
Another upset, as the offense of the Shockers just cannot be stopped. Alabama just seems unlucky, as the defense could not stop the attack on the ground, or in the air. This one is close, but the Shockers win by 10.
ROUND 2
WEST-
The Aces, who had been dominant all season, continue to be that way in this match up of west rivals. The Aces offense doesn't have it's best game, but it is enough, as the Nightmare stars fail to play as well as they did against Boise. Blount was not playing as well as they needed him to, but the game is close, with the Aces winning by a touchdown.
EAST-Louisville loses to Quebec
Louisville hands this game over to Quebec on a silver platter. In a huge blowout, the Shockers weak defense can do nothing to stop Plummer. The Polaires on the other hand somehow are able to shut down Louisville's strong offense. This one isn't even close as the Polaires roll over the Shockers by at least 3 touchdowns.
MLF CHAMPIONSHIP
Quebec-38 Las Vegas-41
In a battle of the Leagues only champions, this game does not disappoint. In a high scoring, high intensity game, the Aces hit a last second field goal to win the championship. John Parker Wilson throws for three touchdowns, and runs one in himself. Duece McAllister scores three touchdowns for Quebec, but is not able to win the game for them. John Parker Wilson is the game's MVP.

Apology
I'm sorry for my absence as of late. Various things have contributed to that, and I promise to come back active again, starting now. I won't let my Grizzlies fall into disrepair.

2010 MLF Draft Results
Trades
Alabama Gladiators trades 36th pick, WR Tyrone Prothro/82 and CB Tim Jennings/80 to
I drafted for the following teams, Louisville, Boise, Alabama, Connecticut and Albuquerque. I did the best I could with all the picks, I think you will be happy with them. Mykl drafted for himself and Memphis.
Best Draft IMO: Louisville, capitalized at every position they needed, including a 5th round steal in QB Jevan Snead who is a point better the Brooks.
Worst Draft IMO: Quebec, they did have the last pick in all the rounds, but they picked a Fullback in the 2nd round, when they could have waited a little longer, and then they drafted a Runningback? Which was confusing, they almost got a DT with this pick and called him a LB although he is far to big for this pick. But who knows a 2 Runningback system could work, they could have updated other places though.
I will work on updating all the rosters, and work on putting together a free agent list, and we will have a free agent signing week, then we will look at kicking off!
