Gladiators Unviel Hoover Coliseum Logo

Birmingham (Hoover), Alabama - "Of course we have already played 2 Home Games this Year but have not unvieled the official logo, Logoman was contacted for the job, It is based on the Outside Mezzanine that takes place at the North and South Ends of the Stadium. We are very happy with the Classiness of this logo. Logoman has also agreed to clean up our Set and make a Full Bodied Gladiator Alternate Logo. So hopefully there will be more to come this week! Thank you for your Time"

Back on Track!

Alright everyone, I know stuff has slowed down lately especially with trying to decide how we were going to simulate it. I know Mykl and sizemore are still here, so is everyone of the original owners still here?

We need to know, some guys we havent heard in a while is (boneheadz MEM, chickenfish BOISE, Johnny SC, and BJB) I am assuming Kevin is, and Im not trying to ask if yall are still on board, just making sure yall are paying attention and know whats going on, and if you are not on board please let us know!

I guess I will be doing simulation, I will try and get RBs and FBs up soon, prolly Sunday, I hope we can get most the drafts done next week since we are on break (or at least I am).

Glad to see we are getting back on track and everything though, oh and make sure to get your jerseys and logos up if you havent yet, I will be back on doing the Under Armor Shop Jerseys.

Als any ideas on All-Star game's name, and/or jerseys, logos, stadium, etc.

I think we should have it somewhere in a pro stadium, and keep it the perminent place.

Allright Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone hope this gets some replies especially from the guys I named.

Alabama Gladiators unveil Logos/Uniforms!

So today I was back at Legion Field where the Gladiators have been holding practice for free agents they may possibly draft and Team president Michael Harbison showed me the official logos, he also gave me a sheet full of the uniform set.

I must say the logos are nice, although Michael said he wants to work on the secondary a little bit more. He told me that Under Armor has done the uniforms. So I checked out their site and found they have Alabama Gladiators Home jerseys for sale!

I love them, Michael also said that the side panels represent the blade of a sword, you can't really tell on this photo but their is a darker gray line representing the crease of the sword in the middle of the stripe. I also got to see their helmet.

Just a computer drawing of the helmet. But it is said that the real helmet will look like it.
He also showed me this rendering of the uniforms. He said that this is what the whole set looks like.

I really like the whole set. He asked me to show this to the Media to see what y'all had to say. I asked him about the New Stadium. He said "Well we actually started building this a year ago. but seized the constructin in the fall. It was originally going to be the stadium for the WFL Birmingham Franchise, however the leauge does not plan to start for another 3 to 4 years. He told me the Stadium will be done before the season starts and he said the name will be the "Alabama Collesium".

Gladiators Stadium *Update 12/4/08*

The Gladiators have annouced that they either want to relocate thier stadium across the street from the Hoover Met, or they may tear down Legion Field and make a new stadium there since Legion Field has been there for such a long time and is very run down.

Birmingham's Owner has said he wishes the fans, and media would give their input so should Alabama's franchise rebuild Legion Field or move to a nicer part of town in Hoover?

Well it is official The Gladiators have announced tonight that they will build thier new stadium in Hoover behind the High School, and Birmingham Barons Baseball stadium. I was able to release the plans to the public.
