Droozer taking over Memphis

It looks like Droozer is taking over the Memphis Kings Franchise. He said that the team may be relocated to Columbus, Ohio. The relocation of the team has been approved by league commission(approved by me). So Droozer you just need to decide if you are moving, preferably as soon as possible, so we can work on getting you a logo package and uniforms way before the season.

Okay so as I said in the last post, MBurmy never checked in, and he has never really been that active except he did make some big changes to the team's roster last off-season. I have no problem with Burmy but I do think we need someone who will pay more attention. So this means we need a new owner for the Memphis Kings Franchise, and obviously I would say Droozer and Brian (The Barrish) are the first two we would ask to take over a team.

So if you guys would like the team just comment and let us know any extra info, like stuff you would be willing to do for the league, or if you want to move the team, where would you move them? etc.

If we have more then 2 or 3 people apply then we will most likely have a vote between the owners.

Memphis is a very good franchise to take over, surprisingly they probably have the best statistical defense in the league. And they had the most Defensive All-Stars on the East team this year, the Offense is good but it could probably use a makeover considering the runningbacks haven't been that great and Graham Harrell has just been kind of a mediocre player.

Uniforms and other News!

Okay so everyone has checked in except Burmy, and I think it is safe to say that most people rather replace him anyways. Burmy has been an entertaining owner at some points but he doesn't ever check and I think we just need to have a more lively owner. I think everyone else is okay, but Throwback if you want to stay in the league you need to become more active or you may go out like Burmy.

Now one of the big changes this season is the move to Nike, Nike has taken over the Pro Football World, first they signed a deal with us and now they have signed a deal with the NFL. This year Nike will be giving all 10 Minor League Football teams new uniform cuts and a Pro Combat Alternate Uniform that will be worn in place during a Promotional Uniform Week. This season TC will be placing all of the uniforms on a Style Guide, and we have put together a Uniform history that he is going to start working on and posting to the site soon. This year to get everyone a little bit more involved we are going to have a Combo Schedule, which tells what combos you are going to wear each week. Also if you are getting new uniforms make sure you use 2 helmets, up to 4 jerseys (2 colored, 2 white) and 2 pants. If you want to add a throwback set you can, just make sure to tell me what week you want to wear it so I can change the teambuilder team. Alright I'm going to post the 10 teams, and I may post ideas I have for possible changes but you don't have to listen to them if you don't want haha.

Alabama - New Uniforms this season! I'm not unveiling them to everyone until TC gets done with the style guide.

Boise - New green jerseys in the style of their Away Uniforms, the green jerseys will also be the Home jerseys for this season. Also, tan Uniforms will be made as a alternate in place of brown this year. They are also replacing the tan pants with brown.

Connecticut - I like Throwback's classic uniforms, but I think he should switch his current Anchor Logo with TC's Retro logo, I'm sure he could swap the gold and yellow and use that logo on your current uniform set.

Las Vegas - Mykl has confirmed the Aces are getting new uniforms this season.

Lincoln - Bmac said that there will be minor changes to uniforms.

Louisville - The Shockers will most likely be getting new Nike Styled Uniforms.

Hawaii - New Nike Uniforms in the works, Retro Uniforms will be returning as Alternates this year.

Memphis - It would be nice to seperate them from Quebec, who knows with a new owner they may be rebranding.

Quebec - TC has confirmed new uniforms.

San Antonio - New Helmets with "Glow in the Dark" Flakes added into paint.

And I found I guy to replace him in Tray Blackmon so he is on their now with a scouting report. I'm also going to post a Draft Big Board tonight with the Top 15 or 20 players on it. Right now sounds like we are going to try for the draft to be next Sunday night depending on if some more people can come.

So we have our new owner of Albuquerque. We have to get a hold of burmy still, so we're pretty close to being set for the draft.

Gentlemen... and beast mode...

Well, since we kind of figured out that we'd do summer leagues, that gives me A LOT more time to help with here.

So with that being said, I will return for a summer season. Though I have some new ideas to make the league better. Now we all know that mike somehow got a crap load of talent, that being said, what if we selected keepers, then drafting players, just to spread out the talent pool. We will keep star players like JPW, and Pornstache, but retool for the future

I also think contracting to 8 teams would be better. I know NEP wont be coming back. Then Kevin has lots of distractions(don't ask). So if we had 8, would you guys be in favor in 1 big league? Instead of divisions, just a big 8 team conference. It seems like it would make it simpler to do a schedule. Like once vs every team, then an extra rival. So I'd play mike, BM would play TC.

I'll see what I can do with the stats from recent games, so we can get a good estimate on how we all did.

So comments? Thoughts? Opinions? Sarcastic remarks?

Also droozer, if you don't make the 8 team league, just be accepting please. I know you want in badly, but it'd be the way the cookie crumbled.

Good luck to the 4 teams left in the tournament. 2 for 2 in Vegas? I THINK SO.

Lastly, sorry I'm sorry I was a bitch. I had a lot on my plate. Just I need to get school together, and get my GPA up. And during the school year, dont expect to see much of me.

Howdy.

So you've probably noticed me absence from the league for the last while. I havnt been interested in this league for a good 2 months. So I would like to announce, I am stepping down as commish, and owner this coming offseason.

I need to focus on school, and my girlfriend. THat, and I dont really have any jobs to do around here anyway. Also im not really happy about what this league has become. Stretched out play weeks, constant bickering, annoying owners, and games that may(or may not) have been adjusted in favor for certain teams.

I might drop SARL too. But ill wait to summer.

Grizzlies announce new ownership

Boise, ID- After the startling retirement of their previous owner Chickenfish, Boise was desperately looking for a new owner. In steps Beast Mode, who was going to run the expansion Tulsa Cyclones next season. "I feel like before we worry about expansion, all the existing franchises should have stable ownership." he was quoted saying in a press conference Sunday. Beast Mode figures to bring changes to the franchise, reportedly including changing the logo. "Our organization will switch to mykl's logo, which we feel is a better look for our organization."

Replacing TC

Well since TC did what he did, we're looking for new owners.

2 people have PM'd me asking if they could get in on the fun. They memebers are Throwback, and TalktoChuck.

Throwback got to me first, so he will get the expansion team, and I told chuck that if someone drops out, most likly johnny, Chuck will replace him.

Throwback said he'd like the team to be in connceticut.

Week 2 Transactions

Alright guys, you do know you can trade players as well. Now I am not crazy about doing that, especially in a league like this where most players are balanced but everyone should know that. Now no one probably wants to trade after the 1st week, considering no one knows that much about there team yet.

The Trade Deadline will be Week6, on Tuesday, 2 days before games start so I can update rosters if needed.

Now another thing is, we will have a Rookie Draft, same format as NFL, so by week 6 we may be able to tell the outcome of the Draft order and you might want to sacarfice a big player for a good draft pick, maybe a older player? or something like that.

I would like for EVERYONE to comment and tell what uniform set they would like to where this week, if no one replys I will just take the Defult Home/Away.

I am assuming Louisville will where Gold on Thursday, I think everyone should wear thier alts on Thursday night games. Someone may want to where thier altenate set anyways though, even on Saturday, and i have a Alt. Away so anyone else who has that may want thier team to wear those.

Owner Still Here?

Well I have heard form every owner since week 1 except for Johnny, in fact Johnny hasn't been here in a good while. Does anyone know if he is still wanting to do this? I dont think he has seen the logos we got hm or his game results. If Johnny is reading this, WE NEED YOU TO REPLY!!!!!!!!, comment on it or do something. If we do not here from him after this weeks game I say we put the franchise under control of Beast Mode!
