I check it every now and then but I'm on Spring Break this week so I've been with friends all week. I think starting over might be a bad idea sizemore, I mean we are already 6 or 7 games in, we need to just finish and have the playoffs, If I have time I will try and help out as much as I can but if not I will try and find a more dedicated owner to take my spot, which may be the best option anyways.
I didn't know if you would see it on the other thread.
Bleh, just do it. If this kind of stuff happens next season (which I anticipate will happen) then I can't commit myself to another year of a crappy league, no offense. I'm sorry but I think you get where I'm coming from. I thought we were going to pick up the plow and cruise through the rest of this season but obviously it didn't happen.
Agreed, of course not having free time is kinda a big deal...
Ugh, I thought we were getting on the right track, then I went to Canada and well... nobody simmed anything. So yeah that's what somewhat pissed me off.
What we have to do is have the season in the summer for sure, so there is no interference with school. We also have to find owners that we are sure will be committed to the league, and have current owners that aren't volunteer to leave. I would say that a single elimination tourny is probably the best way to end this year so we can get ready for a huge face lift for this league.
And we've got all of what, 6 or 7 weeks to get this facelift done... here we go. Targeting a hopeful start date of June 4th for Season 3? I'll see if I can do this tournament this weekend.
I would be willing to stay around as a commited owner in the summer time, no doubt about it. I have just been loaded with school crap this year, more then I thought, and I've had to pull my grades up and stuff plus ever since I got my license I have been hanging out with friends ever weekend so I really just don't have time to sim right now. Like I said though and can commit a lot more in summer when I have a lot of time. If I stick around I will definitely step down as a commish. Sizemore is obviously the most committed right now so he deserves it anyways, but I will still help out as much as possible, and I'll sim some in the summer too.

In that case, how does a single elimination tournament to finish the year sound? (Rankings based on Week 6's Standings)
Albuquerque @ San Antonio
Winner @ Boise (Pt Diff I guess...)
Las Vegas @ Hawai'i
Memphis @ Quebec
Winner @ Alabama
Louisville @ Connecticut
Play down to a champion.
Thoughts?

Sorry that I keep repeating myself (and being annoying) but I'd be happy to help with anything if you need any.
I'm here but my comment isn't showing up on the other post...
If we are really serious about turning it around big time for season 3 I will be glad to stick around.
Alright, I think I'll start the single-elim tourney tomorrow morning. June 4th is our projected start date for Season 3.

Mike, FWIW I'll still need someone who can be in charge of the player ratings and such, I can't do it all alone.
I also propose that we don't change the ratings of players this year because of an incomplete set of stats.
